What owning a Forked Felines inscription means, stated exactly. The inscription is yours; the artwork's copyright is not, and no commercial or derivative grant exists in this version.
Forked Felines Rights Policy, Version 1
- Copyright
- Fortune Comet LDA, the Forked Felines project
- Owning the inscription
- Owning the inscription means the inscription record itself is associated with the Bitcoin output you control. It does not transfer copyright, trademark, or any intellectual property in the artwork.
- Personal use
- Granted. You may display the artwork of an inscription you control for personal, non-commercial purposes: as a profile image, a wallpaper, or in a private collection.
- Commercial use
- Not granted. No commercial use is granted by this policy version.
- Derivatives
- Not granted. No right to create or publish derivative works is granted by this policy version.
- Attribution
- Where the artwork is displayed personally, the project asks that the collection be referred to as Forked Felines. This is a request, not a condition of the personal display grant.
- Trademark and brand use
- The Forked Felines name, logo, and house marks are not licensed by this policy. No trademark use is granted.
- When an inscription transfers
- When the inscription moves to a new output, the new owner holds the same inscription association. Rights never expanded by holding, and none transfer beyond what this policy states.
- Termination
- This policy ends for you if you breach the prohibited uses. Personal display of an inscription you control otherwise continues while you control it.
Prohibited uses
- Presenting the artwork as your own creation or as an official project endorsement
- Using the artwork to imply partnership, sponsorship, or affiliation with the project
- Minting, tokenizing, or redistributing the artwork as a new collection
